LECTURE COMPETITION

At the EDSA congress in Strasbourg, you can take part in Lecture Competitions. The aim is to present ideas and innovations from the world of dentistry.

To this end, you'll need to present your abstract with the limit of 300 words. We advise you to use short sentences and ideas to leave a lasting impression on the audience...

Don’t forget to mention the authors and co-authors of your paper, which can be a maximum of 5. It’s also very important to add everyone qualifications and academic status. For example : » John Doe, Assoc. Prof. PhD, MD, MsC

Your abstract will be structured with these special order of sections : Introduction, Purpose, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussions, Conclusion and Key-words ; that corresponds to the universal IMRaD structure.

Time Limitation :

Lastly, depending on the type or article that you are writing, you need to limit your presentation to the following durations:

» Case Report: 3 minutes to deliver your ideas

» Research: 6 minutes to present your finding

We'll let you know later how to send us your work so that we can select it for presentation. We also recommend that you already prepare your paper, as this can be a time-consuming process! Good luck!

WORKSHOPS

Workshops involve working with partners who present one or more of their products. These times allow us to share our practices and learn new protocols. They are highly enriching, and we are fortunate to be able to count on a wide range of partners.

LECTURES

The Lectures are times dedicated to the presentation of work by your peers or teachers. During these presentations, the author gives an uninterrupted talk, and it's only at the end that the audience can ask questions or make comments.
